The Abbey Toddy cocktail is a drink built with bourbon whiskey, Benedictine, lemon juice, honey syrup, and angostura bitters!
Abbey Toddy Cocktail Info
Jason Sorbet is the beverage director at The Chloe in New Orleans and the creator of this beauty. He says that this drink showcases Benedictine's rich honey, baking spices. The Benedictine's honey, clove, orange peel, and saffron flavors are the highlight of the high-rye and high-proof bourbon. The bourbon compliments them with vanilla, maple, and rye bread flavors.
Sorbet loves the herbaceous liquor because it lifts the vanilla, cinnamon, and maple notes in whiskeys.
