The Melaza Punch cocktail is a drink built with tequila, pineapple juice, orange juice, and molasses(dark syrup)!
Melaza Punch Cocktail Info
A Melaza Punch cocktail is not a large, crowd-pleasing party drink you might find in a big bowl! It is a drink that should be made one at a time.
This cocktail was created by Kathy Casey, a chef and cookbook author. The molasses in this drink is what separates it from most punches. The molasses adds a touch of autumn to the bright, citrusy drink. The drink base is Anejo Tequila traditionally, but any silver tequila will do the trick. Pineapple and orange juices are added, too, giving it nearly a Painkiller flavor. A sprinkle of cinnamon on top provides the final touch and satisfaction of spice requirements.
