Summer is coming to a close, but you still have the time to enjoy it to the fullest! And what better way to do it than to have a delicious drink with your friends? The internet contains alcoholic cocktail suggestions, so we offered you something different. If you’re not into alcohol or if you have a reason to avoid it, you’re reading the right article. Stay with us to learn about non-alcoholic Red Bull summer mocktails that will open your eyes to a new world!
Why Red Bull? Energy drinks make an excellent substitute for alcohol. They bring in that special kick that will make you feel like you’re drinking a real cocktail without making you drunk. Theoretically, you could pick any option among other energy drinks examples if you can’t get Red Bull. But we tested our recipes with this particular drink. We know for sure that the listed ingredients taste amazing. You can replace it and see if your alternative works, but you’ll do so at your own risk.
Now, let’s talk about the basics of mocktail creation. All of our recipes require half a can of Red Bull per portion. We’re also using big cocktail glasses between 300-350 ml or 10-12 oz, so jot that down to ensure your ingredients don’t pour over the top. If you don’t have a cocktail shaker required in some recipes, use a jar with a lid or a water bottle instead. These are simple mocktails that don’t expect you to be an aspiring bartender. But they sure will make you feel like a pro!
Once you have all the ingredients, you can make one of these delicious drinks in just a few minutes or less. Whenever you see any juices or purees on the list, it’s better to use freshly made ones. But we understand you might not have the time or equipment to do so. We tested our recipes with store-bought and homemade ingredients, and we can assure you that your mocktail will be unique no matter what!
Mojito Twist. What’s better than good old classics? Muddle 8-10 fresh mint leaves with a tablespoon of lime juice and another simple syrup to make this mocktail. Fill the glass with ice, pour in Red Bull, and top with half a cup of club soda. Stir, mix, and garnish this deliciousness with a mint sprig, lime wheel, or both!
Tropical Splash. Fill your glass with ice from the start. Then, pour 1/4 cup of coconut water and the same amount of coconut juice. Add one tablespoon of lime juice and follow with Red Bull. Stir gently and drizzle one tablespoon of grenadine over the top to create a pretty layered effect. You can garnish this mocktail with a pineapple slice or a maraschino cherry, but that’s entirely up to you!
Lemonade Cooler. Fill a glass with ice before pouring 1/4 cup of lemonade and one tablespoon of raspberry syrup into it. Add Red Bull to the mix and top it with 1/4 cup of club soda. After mixing these ingredients, you can decorate your creation with a lemon slice at the rim or fresh raspberries.
Mango Refresher. You will need a cocktail shaker for this one. Use it to combine 1/4 cup of mango puree with one tablespoon of lime juice. Fill a glass with ice and pour your mango mixture over it. Then, add Red Bull and half a cup of coconut water. You should garnish this with a mango slice or a lime wedge on the rim.
Cool Cucumber Spritz. Muddle 4-6 cucumber slices and 6-8 fresh mint leaves with one tablespoon of lemon juice. Fill the glass with ice, then pour in Red Bull and half a cup of club soda. Once your mocktail is nicely mixed, you can get another cucumber to make a decorative ribbon. If you don’t know how to cut it into a ribbon and aren’t eager to learn, a simple mint sprig will do just fine!
Summer Sunrise. Another take on a beloved classic that might convince you to leave the original cocktail behind! Fill your glass with ice before you pour in 1/4 cup of orange juice, the same amount of cranberry juice, and Red Bull. Slowly pour one tablespoon of grenadine for a layered effect, and you’re done. Yes, it might be the easiest mocktail on the list.
Berry Fizz. You will need a mixed berry puree. We suggest blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries because these are the ones that we tested. But you can experiment with whatever you can get as long as you like it. Combine 1/4 cup of your puree with one tablespoon of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add Red Bull and 1/4 cup of cocktail soda and give it all a good mix once again. After pouring your mocktail into a glass filled with ice, you can garnish it with fresh mint leaves or a skewer of berries.
Citrus Energy. Fill a glass with ice before pouring in orange juice, grapefruit juice, and ginger ale – 1/4 cup each. Add Red Bull and stir to combine until the entire glass is filled with the same color. You can decorate the rim with orange or grapefruit slices, especially if you’re squeezing your juices and have leftover fruit.
Hopefully, this list has at least one option you’re dying to try. Whether you’re hosting a party or just chilling by yourself, our mocktails will give you something new and festive. It’s a great way to wave your goodbyes to the end of summer and enjoy the last hot days before autumn takes the stage. Imagine that we’re lifting our glasses to clink yours. Cheers!
