The Plainkiller cocktail is a drink built with aged rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut!
Plainkiller Cocktail Info
Sometimes the best tropical drinks appear in unexpected places. This is how you explain the Plain Killer, a Tiki-style cocktail created by Tory Miller at the Sujeo, a now-closed pan-Asian restaurant.
Fun fact: The 1980s Painkiller (father of this cocktail) was trademarked in the United States by Pusser’s Rum. Therefore, a different rum-made Painkiller can’t be called a Painkiller unless it slightly changes the original recipe in some way or changes the name.
The Plainkiller is made with a different name and a little less pineapple juice compared to the original Painkiller recipe, therefore does not infringe on the original trademark.
