Radler Cocktail

Jump to Recipe

The Radler cocktail is a simple drink built with beer (Light beer, maybe a lager) and sparkling lemonade!

Radler Cocktail Info

This simple cocktail of beer and citrus is one of the easiest to drink and make, especially if you enjoy a beer! A Radler is closely related to a Shandy. The differences between them are debatable, but generally, a Shandy can include more flavors. But, the base is the same: a lighter beer like a Lager and sparkling lemonade.

This drink is German and named after the late-19th-century recreational cyclists who were often in dire need of a refreshing drink to cool down on hot days.
